What they don't see can hurt you.
The screen size of many browsers still in use today is approximately 600 by 300 pixels. The screen dimensions of the new WebTV format are 544 by 376. Most people do not use the scroll bars, although more are starting to do so. If a page is designed with larger dimensions than 544 by 300, it is likely that some information will be missed.
